I recently had to reboot my pc b/c of a virus infection and I'm trying to install dvd x copy platinum on my pc again except that I can't find the license id or the password is there another way i can get another set?

Yes there is a site to reactivate Platinum. There are several references in a forum here, do a search for the info.
