Well, I need to upgrade my computer and the only choice I have for video cards are PCI. No AGP or PCI-E. It sucks, but I have to deal with it.

Now, can someone please explain which video card is better?

1) GeForce FX 5700LE 128MB DDR

or

2) GeForce FX 5200 256MB DDR
http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=14-145-087&depa=0

I was originally just going to get the 5200, but someone told me to go with the 5700LE... im new to this stuff, so im lost on what everything means and which card is better overall.

I'm wanting to play Half Life 2, FFXI, and World of Warcraft. Yea, I know i'm not going to get anywhere close to the highest settings but I just want the best possible for a PCI card in this price range.(Up to $100.. i'm buying 512MB of memory also.)

So if you have experience with these cards, please let me know which is the better overall choice. Can someone explain what over clocking is too? I've read that some people overclocked the 5700LE and have HL2 running on the highest settings. Over clocking sounds like something I would screw up and ruin my computer... any details on that would be great.

Thanks!

Oh yea, system specs at the moment..

I know this has nothing to do with this topic, but can anybody please tell me why the framerate slows down whenever there is smoke or fog effects in a game?

PC Specs:
Radeon x300SE
512MB RAM
145GB HDD
3.0GHZ Processor

Do any of the parts need like a driver update or something?

Either go with the FX5200 or an FX5900 or up. Don't waste your money on the little move up with the FX5700 or LE. See my sig, I have actually both and not much difference between them. Spend a bit more and move up past them.
