I've recently been having issues with dvd's freezing half way though. I've pretty much confirmed this is either bad media(TDK 8x d -R) or my burning it at 8x. If i go ahead and get some different more quality media can i backup what i have with dvd decrypter and then reburn or will this give me the same problem. The idea of finding and burning all these dvd's over again is quite a headache. Thanks for your help

TDK usally is great media so i bet its not the media, try slowing it down to 4x i never burn faster than that.ans once the disc you have is bad i dont think you can recopy it to correct it.try saving it to your harddrive after you burn it watch the movie to make sure its ok then delete the file next time
