1. you need to forward ports

2. have you got windows firewall enabled?

3. have you applied the half open connection patch for SP2?

hi there...i am not exactly sure what happened but suddenly after yesterday, my downloads have dropped to around 1.5kb/s from a usual 50 plus...most of the time however, it hovers around 0kb/s...i have no idea what went wrong. Is there any way to test what happened?

I don't remember changing any configuration. One moment it was at 50 plus and i left the computer on for half an hour or so...when i came back it was at 0...and even with new torrents it is still like that. what could be the problem?

hi there...i tried that...but now it's better...it's fluctuating between 10 - 50 kb/s...a bit weird. Cause normally it would be constant at 50plus kb/s...now the speeds keep changing drastically. I am not sure why.

What is the best upload speed i should cap if i am running on ADSL 512/256?

I am currently capping it at 24kb/s. Previously i capped at 35kb/s and could get dl speeds of up to 60-65 kb/s...
