its easy to download off of TMD-Moviez. I'm downloading off of it right now! (thanks to some folks who hleped me set mIRC so I could download)

all you need is the TMD-Recruit Pack, which you can get off of the #TMD channel, but i have conveniently stored it on my website for your convenince:

Right click, Save Link As

Try again if it doesnt let you save the zip file the first time, or click on the link a few times and then save as

Unzip, and install

just install it and follow the txt file in there and youre set

just go to tmdmoviez.com for guides

the TMD Recruit Pack is about 4 MB

A movie downloaded off of TMD-Moviez is about 200-300 MB and is usually split into two parts

The quality depends on what you are downloading

CAM If it has the word CAM in its file name then this movie was recorded by someone in a cinema with a camcorder and the audience can be heard! The picture quality is usually OK but the sound is mostly very bad and hard to make out speech.

Telesync If the movie has TS in its file name then it is recorded in a cinema but usually on an expensive camera and they should have a seperate audio source (so the audience cannot be heard), these are generally very good quality and highly watchable.

Telecine If the movie has TC in its file name then it means it could have been done one of these two ways:
1. Taken directly from the reel.
2. Ripped in either widescreen (letterbox) or in full-screen (pan and scan) with excellent audio and video.
The most common way is to get a device that you attach to the reel that generates a VHS tape of the reel. (called a telecine machine, but there are other machines that generate a digital output of both audio and video that are then put into a laptop or VCR and made into a VCD).

Screener If the movie has the word SCR in its file name then it is usually recorded form a promotional video tape which is sent to censors and film critics, etc... The quality is usually as good as a commercial VCD, some times a copyright message appears on the screen.

Work-Print If the movie has the word WP in its file name then each frame of the film is copied from celluloid (or another source). These are sometimes incomplete movies. The sound is usually perfect and the visual quality can vary.

DVDRip If the movie has the word DVD in its file name then this movie has been ripped from the DVD or Laserdisc versions of the film and the quality is as good as genuine VCDs.

SubbedIf the movie has the word SUBBED in the file name then the movie has sub-titles. Sometimes only 1, that are real small. But others are real big and some movies have 2 or 3 subtitles on them taking up large portions of the screen.

INTERNAL - release was ment for the group only because it didn't stand up to their standards
LIMITED - shown in fewer than 500 theaters.
STV - straight to video
DUPE - duplicate; already been ripped
BAD FPS - does not follow the scene standard ~24fps
SE - special edition dvd
RERIP - same movie ripped again
INTERLACED - Picture will appear wavy to the trained eye.
BAD IVTC - IVTC (inverse telecine) is the process of converting a 30fps movie into 24fps to save space. picture will appear jerky to the trained eye.
PROPER - a previous release of this movie was poor and this one is supposedly better.
REPACK - repacked
NUKE - there are two different types of nuking. the first is site specific. a site will nuke a release if it does not comply with their rules. the other is a global nuke (meaning most every site nukes it) when a release is a DUPE or has something wrong with it.
DC - director's cut

Something else that is part of the filenames is the release group. Those are simply credits to who released the movie and will be in paranthesis.

Example:
[TMD]The.Best.Movie.Ever.Made.(DMT).Proper.SCR.(1of2).avi
[TMD] = The usual TMD tag
The.Best.Movie.Ever.Made. = The title of the movie
(DMT) = The group that released it
.Proper.SCR. = Information about what type of rip it is. In this case a Screener that is better quality than a prior release.
(1of2) = The first part of a 2 part release.

it says i have a 30 day evaluation.if i have a 1gb monthly usage allowence does downloading tmd moviez waste it.

In the txt file it says how to get rid of it (which I'm beginning to think is illegal), so if you want to register mIRC legally, you can go to http://www.mirc.com

Yes, if you have a limitation of a 1GB Downloading Bandwidth (which I think is way too small - might want to switch your internet provider), then while downloading a movie from TMD-Moviez, it will take up your bandwidth.
