How to break the 137Gigs Limit

I recently bought a hard drive (Maxtor) that contains 200 Gigs. When I installed it though, it only let me use a total of 137G. I as wondering if anyone knew how to fix this and would beable to help me.
I read from on the Maxtor website that there were 3 ways of doing this.
1 Update to Windows XP service pack 1 or higher (did it)
2 Download and run 'Big drive enabler' by Maxtor (did it)
Get the Intel accelerated app. (Program said my computer was not combatable)
3 Buy a Ultra ATA PCI adapter card with a 48-Bit LBA compliant BIOS and controller driver

I want to Avoid number 3 since I don?t want to buy anything since i lack money.

How did you guys do it? Thanks.

Thanks buy I fixed it. I searched in the little search box on this site that uses google and it told me to use administrative tools or something like that. Thanks though.
