i just bought the usb data cable and the driver for that for my motorola v180 phone. now what do i need to put mp3 ringtones and pictures onto it? wut program? where to get it? could anyone help me out please?

Hi Mossyy,
My family just got a Moto V180 and mine is V220.
I have installed P2Kman and it works(connected) for my V220.Get a updatelist etc..
I didn't change anything except pluging V180 instead of V220 with my USB cable.
However, P2Kman couldn't find V180.
I thought that P2Kman should work on both. Right?

when u plugged the V180 to the computer, did the computer recognise it anyway it should and then install the driver again...

ohk, i need help... when i hook the phone to the computer through the usb cable, it recognizes and says motorola phone (v180). i have not installed the driver yet though, because, when i try it says that there is an error... when i try to upgrade the device driver with the wizard, it says:
Completing the upgrade device driver wizard
motorola phone v180
an error occurred during the installation of the device
the installation failed because a funciton driver was not specified for this device instance.
does anyone have msn that could by chance walk me throught it, cuz it is really frustrating...

hey i have a problem, for some reason when i try to access my audio details it just goes back to the settings menu... i have the data cable... is there anywhere i could maybe get a backup for the phone? or how i would find my master reset code???

i guess u have delete some ringtones, anyway to fix ur problem u have to get PST to set ur fone to 0, i mean by 0 is to silent, or use the motokit and there is an option to make ur fone set to silent, and then just restart ur fone and it will work....

while i was waiting, my friend has a v180 also, i loaded his tones to my desktop, then i put them on my phone... still nothing.

yep thats it and ur ringtones will work and u wont get kicked from the Ring style or the details....

p2kman build: 27.07.2004, it's working like it's supposed to, a little hard to set up if you don't know much about computers, but it works, i just fucked up my phone....

no am not working for Motorola, and btw i was just a newbie,,,,,,, but i was interesting and i just kept reading in all the forums..... :D
