Hi all

Ok here is my problem. I have monsters inc on dvd. My friend wants a copy so i started ripping off the files with dvd decrypter but then i struck a problem! The dvd has a mark on it and all the files wont copy!

I managed to rip the main movie vobs but now i am missing the bup files and ifo files etc.

How do i take these vobs and then re-make ifo's etc so that it will burn and play just the main movie?

once again mate... read the rules - backups only... i smell another bollocking coming on... :(

the reason is obvious really - keep on talking bootlegging and this site will get closed down...

say things like "i need to do a backup for the kids" yadda yadda.... :)

man... i dont care really... i just dont want this site closing down as its pretty useful...

also seems odd that you cant rip the teeny tiny bups and ifos but can rip 1 gig VOB files? maybe use

If you read my post correctly you would see that i said the disc has a mark on it dumb ass!! Hence the reason why the files won't rip!

Oh yeah and one other thing...

i'm not your m8!!

man take a chill pill, all i was saying is that bups and ifos are usually tiny - so the thought that you couldnt rip them but can rip a huge VOB seemed odd...

now, while i admit i take the piss i wasnt offensive, just saying it was odd...

why dont you give IFOEdit or something a try? maybe could help? or try ripping the ifo & bup with ignore read errors switched on in DVDdec?

I've tried that. Anyway i've sorted it now. I used DVD Shrink and re-authored the dvd. Doing it this way created new bup and ifo's.
