im wanting to add another hdd to my pc. it currently has 3 and 1 dvd burner. what do i need to get to make it have 4 or 5 hdds?

you need a pci ide controller card & a big enough psu to supply the power to all those drives. why so many hds???

if 4 isn't much than how big are they because if about 40gig or less each can get a 160gig for about $100Can

look for an ATA-133 expansion card, fits in a pci slot on the motherboard, allows adding 4 more HD's to the PC

How big are the HD's you are using? You do know that you can take a 300gig HD for example and partition it into 4, 75 gigs for example without sacrificing any speed.
