I have downloaded individual songs on WinMX and those play fine. However, if I find a whole album, it comes as one big file, not a group of songs. How do I play it, burn it? Does it need partitioning???

All the songs from the album are probably archived using Win Rar. Download the software from the Win Rar site and you can extract these files. I'm presuming they have the extentions of either .rar or .tar or .ace or .zip.

Also don't bother with WinRar. ExtractNow and 7-Zip are free apps that do everything that WinRar does.
