Hey, I've just bought a new notebook and it comes with with Radeon 9000IGP graphics. It plays World of Warcraft ok but the frame rate aint all that good. I was wondering if anyone knew where I could buy Mobiltiy Radeon Chips or even if it is possible to actually buy them sepretaly. I was looking for something like an X700. I've fitted graphics cards into my desktop before but I was wondering if anyone knew if there'd be any soldering involved with a notebook?
If anyone has any ideas, it'd be appreciated if you'd share them with me!

I'd first check with your Laptop manufacturer to see if they carry other Graphics cards for your model of laptop and if it is even possible to make the switch. Then do your shopping online but typing into a search engine such as Google an example such as; X700 for Dell 5100. Just exchange what you want and your model number for your laptop.
