I?m having a problem burning a copy (dvd) of a copy (dvd).
I have a Lite-On DVDRW SHOW-8126. I?m using Ritata 4X DVD+ disks.
I have no trouble copying from an original DVD. I use Shrink mostly some times Decrypter.

When I try to copy one of my copies in Shrink I get the dreaded Cycle redundancy error.
The disks are in perfect shape some only played once. No scratches.

I?ve tried to use ISObuster It did work on one of the disks but not the two I tried after that.

Just don?t understand why I can?t copy a good copy.
Thanks

A good copy has no protection. Why not use nero's copy dvd option?

Your backups may have errors. This can be caused by bad media, fast burns speeds or scratched discs. It may not be possible to backup your backups if this is the case.

How much is the copy compressed? Did you check the disk for any errors?

I use alcohol or Nero to copy copies. I have made a copy before, it would miss & skip whilst playing the movie, I have then copied that "faulty" copy, they have all worked a treat. I tried it out of curiosity. Glad that I did

Try just using DVD Decrypter in ISO read/write mode.

But as has been stated, maybe an issue of the media used.
Worthwhile trying out some of the suggestions though...........

...............PIO is no go, DMA all the way...............

I'll try Nero. I never had any errors while burning the orginal copy. They play great in my DVD players.
SO there is NO copy protection after you make a copy?
Just use Nero Copy DVD to make the copy?

Thanks Guys

Thats correct. Once you have the first copy it is no longer encrypted. So any disc copy program should copy it. Nero, Roxio, or RecordNow max in disc copy mode should do the job. No need for Shrink or any other decrypting software.
