Hey guys ,,
i alwayes get an error msg saying that the archive is may be unknown format or damaged after downloading an archive file in emule .. do any one know how can i fix this archives or how can i recognize its real extension ?

Plz Help cuz i have a dozen of them

go into my documents

at the top > tools > options > folder options > view > don't hide extensions for known file types, untick it.

then youll know what it is.

i really know how to view its extension but i thought maybe a way or a software 2 recognize the extension even if it changed to a new false one .. so do u know how to fix corrputed archives which downloaded from emule ? i use repain in win rar .. but i am looking for a way may be more effective , thank u

im getting the same error.

ive just done a conversion to ntfs via the convert.exe in xp.is it possible that a file which was originally created on or the machines from the users i downloaded from is in fat32 and it cant read it properly?

im using edonkey btw,not emule.and its only with "supposed" rar files.ive thought about it being iso cd image but it wont open in nero so...

it is true .. i am using ntfs file system , and i think maybe this files had been compressed on fat32 or whatever .. the question now is how to convert this files 2 work on ntfs or how i could open it .. Thank u
