Hi

I am trying to back up a disc and getting a message Data error cycle redundancy check can you let me know what th problem is

well it really depends on what movie it is....
sometimes it's just a scratched or dirty disc.....or it could be the newest copy protection methods that are being used. Using Shrink will give you the same error for both. Clean the disc and if you still get the error try ripping with DVD Decrypter...
