problem burning anime with nerovision

hi guys this is my first post so please help me.
I tried to burn anime(tenjou tenge) on dvd using NeroVison Express 3. The problem is when i play it on my dvd, the bottom and the sides of the video is cut off. that means i cant see the subtitle. Then, i changed the ratio to 16:9(it was 4:3 before). When i play it, it makes the video into a small box in the center, leaving a lot of space. After that, i tried to convert the file using TMPGenc DVD Source Creator. I putted the ratio 16:9 and encode it. Finally, i went to burn again with nerovision express 3. When i play on my dvd i can at last see the subtitle but the sides are beeing cut off. that really annoyed me. can someone tell me what to do so i can watch my anime on dvd??

burn the anime in a 4:3 format and adjust your t.v. or dvd player to 4:3 or 16:9
