I can't wait to get my hands on cobra 1.0 bios.
Hopefully it will eliminate the dres once and for all.

grrr...next time add a "?" to the end of your thread title, otherwise people like me who would like to see the end of dres will think that there is news in the thread that something will eliminate them.

hmm, I read at maxconsole.com that the new cobra 1.0 will eliminate all DREs. But for me it doesn't matter, because I haven't had any DREs since I began with burning "homebrew" GC software ;)

well, koteshi, consider yourself one of the lucky ones. actually, at maxconsole it says they fixed the idle bug, so all dre's from idling will be gone:)

You can also run +R media.. I am running MARIO PARTY 5 on a +R DVD, been running for 4 hours and counting still no DRE's, thats with 2 hours of title screen idle, playing from 30, then back to idle..

I switched to dvd+r's yesterday and all my mario tennis dre's are gone:)

Yesterday I got my first DRE ever with Eternal Darkness. But after that I switched to DVD+R and everything works perfect.

BTW: Eternal Darkness is a really amazing game.
