my window xp home edition is getting wierd, because every time i tried to install something like direct 9. and it said cannot pass window logo or something it tired the ignore methoe but it do not work and someone please help me and this happen since last year and i cannot install anything please help.

Good suggestion; but, worse case, it sounds like a rebuild/new Operating System install to me.....
