OK someone out there must have the same computer as me..
please make me a set of recovery discs and somehow send them to me or post them as a torrent or anything PLEASE...
I DESPERATLEY NEED THEM!!!

Unfortunately that is against the forum rules and it is unlikely there are any torrents, have you tried visiting the vaio website for support or phoning up customer services? You may not even need to use recovery disks there are plenty of tools out there that could probably get your system up and running again, what is the exact problem? and did you have system restore enabled?

My haddrive crashed(problem)
i did phone customer service, SONY is a bunch of crap they didnt help me, they said that the computer should of prompted me to make 6 cds and it only made one...so they wouldnt help me and i have no warranty anymore either
so i do need the recovery discs to get vaio OS

Can't you D/L updates/drivers from Sony's sight just for their hardware that is installed in your PC, after you load XP as what ddp suggested?

If its Sony drivers for their products, then they should be listed on their website. Dell, Gateway, and most PC manufacturers do this.

what about all the other software i used on the sony OS?
thats only one software that i found on that site...doesnt help that much
