I got some crappy dvd's from a website that are sapposed to be 4x I have an 8x burner and I've never had any problems w/ it burning at the correct speed for the dvd's now I'm having problems w/ these cheap dvd's they fail at 4x and 1 out of 5 times at 2.4x I contacted the website but instead of returning the suggested that I upgrade the firmware on my dvd burner. I checked out the website for my dvd burner and it doesnt seem to be an updated firmware just the original firmware so I'm guessing that redownloading the firmware for my dvd burner wouldnt make a diffrence... Also the website for my dvd burner doesnt show the dates of when the firmware was updated last that's why I'm assuming that it's not an update but a reinstall

If there aren't any new ones then reinstalling the current version won't change anything so I'd try returning them for some decent stuff :)
