Help: XP doesn't designate a drive letter to new hard drive

I just plugged in a 120GB Maxtor hard drive (on top of my older 80GB). XP recognised it correctly and installed it, but it didn't designate a new drive letter for it.
What should I do?

Start>Control Panel>Administrative Tools>Computer Management, I think you should be able to change/Add the drive letters there.

you need to partition & format the new hd. use this link even tho is by seagate still the same with all hds. http://www.seagate.com/support/kb/disc/howto/install_xp_disk_mgmt.html

Thanks guys, I'm so used to pre-formated drives that I simply didn't remember I should partition and format it.
