New DVD anti-copy software?

Hey guys I was just curious if you have heard about this. I was in Walmart contemplating on purchasing a copy of "Finding Neverland" and after looking over the package I noticed a small dvd icon with a red cross over the icon. The message then stated that it was some sort of anti coping software. Has any one heard if this could affect how DVD programs making back ups. If I cant make a back up there is no way I am going to buy the DVD. I have also noticed this Icon on other new DVD's. Thanks Guys

sorry about the double post I was not sure where I should post the message
I am not sure exactly what it is called but I have never noticed it before on any DVD until recently. It was called something to the effect of Anti-copying protection with a Dvd icon cover with a red cross like the one that is on "NO SMOKING" signs
