Hi!

I've recently tried out DvdReMake. I tried at least 3 different(&original) discs(after decryting them to the hard drive), but the exported dvds are useless. There are all the buttons and pictures in the menu, but i can not use them. The menu is a picture and nothing more. The buttons can't be pushed. I tried WinDVD and PowerDVD. The exported dvd don't work either of them. Anybody knows what the problem is? I could not make a useful backup with this program.

bye: nightw

Perhaps it's a problem with the decrypting process before you get to remake? Are you using the latest version of remake? I've been using it for months and haven't had a problem at all. I use it to remove the fbi warnings and sometimes split chapters and have yet to ruin a disc.

What are you useing to rip to the hdd with? Sounds like you're useing DVD Shrink in reauthor mode. Try ripping with dvd decryptor.

I'm using dvddecrypter. I never use dvdshrink. I always rip with dvddecrypter and then use clonedvd(because it can preserve the menus and can remove titles) or i use dvdrebuilder with cce if the dvd is too long. I just want an easy tool to get rid of fbi warnings and other things which CloneDVD can't. Maybe really a version problem. I'll look into it.
Thanks, bye: nightw

It has to do with the copy of the program you've got for testing. More info is here: http://cdr-zone.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1393
It has nothing to do with version - registered copies work just fine.

Having the exact same problem. I use dvd decryptor to rip the disk
in an ISO then mount it to a virtual drive via Alcohol 120%.
Everything works sweet till now. I import the mounted disk into
DVDremake (v2.6.2 pro)and mainly just strip out warnings, trailers
and the like, no changes to Menu's etc. The project exports ok,
then..Bling Bling.. Menus no longer work.

The reason why the exported files come out incorrect is because its most likely a pirated version. There have been lots of reports of this on many forums and to resolve the matter I say plunk down the suggested amount for Remake PRO, its a great app.
