i want 2 lay messages on to music, so as to hear both at once and to have some control over of volume
on both, (what is the term for this...is it called dubbing???)
any ideas of software i need for this.

Don't know of any free programme to do this, but I use Adobe Audition 1.5 and it's very easy to do.

Adobe Audition used to be Cool Edit Pro

You can also look for: Sonic Foundry Sound Forge 7 or 8 here:

These products cost a fair bit, although aren't completely imposible to find by other means if you know how. :)
