I know this is the wrong place, but i need infor on VHS to DVD burning....

Can someone give me some info about this, you know, the basics? Or at least point me in the right direction to find out? thanks, and sorry if i'm in the wrong area, i just only saw dvd-dvd burning.

should be able to just use a tv-in card, hook it up to composite video, then record it into an mpeg. then you could burn it directly to a cd or dvd, that is if your dvd player can play vcds. if not you will have to convert the file to .vob's somehow.. not sure exactly how you would go about doing that.
