I never heard of anything bizarre like that.

What I would do (and this just me) is download the newest version and uninstall firefix/restart and reinstall FireFox. Maybe this will help.

If not then we will try somthing else.

Here's what I want to know if I can do: In IE, if you go File/New/Window, you get a new IE window that is an exact duplicate of the one you were in, including functioning back and forward buttons. Can you get this in FF?

Took the words right out of my mouth. That is actually the same as the Ctrl+N function, I have been trying to find out how to change that in FF myself, if anyone here knows how, it would be greatly appreciated!

no -squizzle- and -deezp1-, it just takes you back to whatever your home page is.

I've searching for an answer so as soon as I find one you will be the first to know.

Thanks man, I just go a hold of eBook of FF hacks, maybe it will be in there, but I doubt it. Those "hack" books usually suck, they are only good if your a noob. if its there I post it later.

Tell me if anyone else has experienced this:

I haven't run adaware or spybot in like 2 weeks. I ran them both today. No spyware found and 1 adware found - an IE cache. At first I thought those programs weren't running right. Then I started thinking - maybe FireFox....

Firefox is not a adware. Maybe somthing you downloaded while you were in IE.

Hey guys, This tread inspired me to look for more tweaks for Firefox and I ran into the motherload of tweaks, tips, and shortcuts. So decided start a new thread dedicated to Firefox Tips and shortcuts here -> http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/184257

I have to give geestar20 props though, I always knew Firefox is highly customizable, but after this tread I though I would do some research to see how much it is.
