Hello,
I was burning a DVD today and it stopped at 3% and basically froze, i waited awhile because the red light was still flashing. now my dvd-rw drive wont read anything, no cds or dvd. Is this something that can be fixed/explained or did my drive just die, after i bought it two months ago. seriously, this makes no sense. i really fucking want to hurt somebody! what can i do. please help!!

if it helps, the drive tries three times to read the disc and you can hear a soft beep noise. do i have a broken drive?

The BenQ 1620 Pro is a great drive. I think you have a software problem. Check and see if your computer is recognizing the drive. Right click on the drive and click Properties. Let me know"
