i 've made two copies of spanglis no problems. what to use. 1) decrypter to hard drive, shrink, then Nero to burn. this was the best way
2) 1click dvd with dvdfree in background. just fine also.

Nero Recode2 or Shrink using deep analysis and AEC/ fabdecrypter or anydvd running in the background/ IMGBurn to burn/main movie only mode= perfect.

Was able to get Spanglish to my HD with DVDD, but when I try to shrink, it will not let me burn. Also tried to burn from HD direct to disc with DVDD. Gets to about 3/4 through then stops. Also the dvd will not play all the way through on my pc, but will play in standalone player. Strange!!! Shrinker

Guys I own spanglish and the original plays fine. However when I tried to back it up there was errors. So I used the latest DVDDecrypter 3.5.4.0 processed it as an ISO image the used Shrink on the ISO, then use decrypter to burn. Worked like a charm.

Hope this helps

Ripped and burned Spanglish using same procedure as Ray40 posted above. First tried Shrink and DVD43(Free) and it froze about 38% thru; then tried Nero Recode 2 with DVD43(FRee) and it posted error about reading VOB7 file. Supposedly DVD43(Free) version 3.5.2 will handle Arcos protection or bad sector protection, but it didn't for me on Spanglish.

Curious....Has anyone had success with latest DVD43 with the newer protected DVDs????

As for me and my house, from now on, I'll stick solely with DVD Decrypter to rip those newer protected DVDs. As Ray40 said, "works like a charm."

This is ridiculous!!! Every time a new movie comes out we see hundreds of post of how it won't work. TRY THE SEARCH FUNCTION!! It works :-) Also try updating all your proggys first. There is no new problem with this or any other movie if you use the newest version of Decrypter or AnyDVD..

It basically comes down to one thing. Operator error! I don't care what you say if others are successfull riping and backing up these newer movies with methods they described, well then logic would say do it THAT WAY!!!!

Sorry all I just want to come through the computer and strangle some people some times.. LOL :-)

@Creaky,
No way Nephlim is the man, and no one wants me to have that job. Man there would be a lot less people on here if that were the case LMAO!!

I think all threads mentioning Spanglish should be closed and no new ones allowed to be started. This has really been beaten to death with no end in sight.

I would like to see a new Spanglish thread that reads:

Search First.....No one seems to be using this function.

Next week we'll have some new movies and maybe Spanglish will go away. We can then look forward to a dozen threads on Oceans Twelve or some such.

Ocean's Twelve is Warner Bros., should not cause too much grief. But Sony has got XXX Uncensored and The Woodsman, Universal has got Meet the Fockers all due out within next few weeks, so we will see the postings start again.

Oceans' Twelve was just plucked out of a list as an example of a movie to be released next week. I can think of nothing more inane than a thread on that movie.

Hey I can't back up Oceans 12!!

Do you know what the problem is with this movie?

I have tried everything. I swear I did!

Do I need a new toaster for this one?

Or do I use the microwave method?

;-)

I was successful using a "pink pearl eraser/decrypter" on Oceans 11 by removing the second "l" and then used a "sharpie" encoder to write a "2". No problems.....;-D
