leogeo, did you change your ports to 53000 yet? Also, I know I've posted this up above already but I don't think you've read it yet, try out some of the suggestions, it may greatly improve your speed.
you know the weird thing about port forwarding on zone alarm is that the settings do not remain..
for eg, i followed instructions on http://firewalling.com/personalfirewalls/ZoneAlarmPro.htm to open ports 6881 and 53000 but speeds didn't really improve. moreover, the next day after restartiing the computer, the ports are not forwarded at all...why is this so?
Hello, I have a very big problem using Azureus. I have a router and firewall, so the smilies are allways yellow. I have a 4mbps Internetconnection and i have a download speed about 5 kBps. Sometimes I have a speed up to 30 kBps, and I had 1 or 2 times about 100 kbps for a fiew seconds.. so i guess my connection is really capable of more, isn't it ? I tried several ports (very high numbers).
Toiletman: thanks for all your help in this matter. My download speeds are not always 'superfast' but with the right traker and amount of seeders I get (i think i do anyways) the right download speed.
