Have not made it around to watching it yet. But I know it has to be a dvd-9, all new movies are dvd-9. Can't be any problem coping though, I have not seen one thats a problem. Band of Brothers and OZ you either have to Rip chapters or Strip Streams. It's a DVD-9 world get used to spliting the movie.

I just burned signs last night. After ripping extras with ifoedit I was about 200MB over, so I chopped the credits and it all fit on one dvd-r. So it can be done.
hope this helps

Hey jeff0628
I had the same trouble with "signs", how did you trim the credits with Ifoedit. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

it takes 2 freeware programs (dvd2avi and vstrip) and about 20mins at the most.
open dvd2avi, press file then open.
then in the new window select your last main movie vob and press open.
then press ok in the next window.
you should be able to see your film in the preview window now.
drag the slider at the bottom to the point you want the film to end.
once your happy press the ] button at the bottom right of the window.
now press file then save project and name it whatever you like.
let dvd2avi do its stuff then close it.
you will have d2v file. open in notepad and write down the number or numbers and letters that are at the side of LOCATION, except the first zeros.
open windows calculater and put it in scientific mode, then press HEX and type in your number you wrote down. then press DEC, it will change the number to a decimal number which we need for vstrip (write it down).
open vstrip and press ADD and select your last vob again. now type in the decimal number where it says END LBA.
now press the output tab at the top and under output name type whatever you want.
press run.
when its done close it down and then find the new file and rename it the same as your last vob then exchange them.
at this point open ifoedit and load vts_01_0.ifo goto vob extras and select correct vob-unit, correct ifo tables, and create new movie files. once done close out ifoedit and open it back up and load your ifo file again and get vts sectors.
try it out on your pc. and you will see its cut it where you wanted and probably cut it down 200MB or so.

Signs will fit to one disc but you need to delete the begining credits. Just load IfoEdit and open the movie's ifo file. Now scroll down to where you see all the V/C ids. Double click on the first one and a preview will come up. You can scroll through the section to see exactly what it is. Then go to Vob Extras and Strip VOB-IDs. Check off all ids that you want to keep, set the directory and presto changeo, you've got your streamlined movie.

I have attempted to rip signs to my harddrive using dvd encryptor and it has not worked. Under Mode I choose file and it selects the movie file by default and I also include the video.ifo file or something like that name and usually with power dvd I can open the file and watch the movie playing off my harddrive. Can someone please help me with this. This is the first movie I have had a problem with.
