I want to make a cd using only parts of 3 different songs to put into a presentation. I guess what I am trying to do is mix. Is there any software out there that will allow me to record a part of a song onto my pc? With the software I use now I have to record the whole song.

I think you may want to use a combination of these apps:

1) Audacity

2) KRISTAL

3) Jet-Audio
