DVD Profiler ... ... ...
However, it is excellent to have all the info in it's database as a source for ideas about what titles to ADD to my collection! In other words, as a DB for movies i Don't have! :)
Could you please explain how you do this ? The closest thing I can think of, is when I choose "add by title". But I only get a messy list of titles.

Is there something I've missed ?

I enter mine in by the UPC codes on the back of the case. It's tedious but once you have them all entered in you can upload your collection to the web where you can redownload it any time you need :)

Sorry I haven't been following this topic from the start so what I post will be a little off topic to you guys but...

After reading what you guys said about DVD Profiler I decided to dl it. I signed up and they said they would send me a registration key via E-mail. But they didn't, it was pretty much words only. Here's a screen shot of it.

Also is there a way to transfer all my archived movies from ANT Movie Caralogue to DVD Profilier?

Yes, of course.

My point was that olo_2003 said he appreciated DVD Profiler as a DB for movies he doesn't have. And unless I overlooked a feature, I don't see how DVD Profiler could be very helpful at this.

My apologies if this is the wrong arena for this question but I figure that minds much wiser than I might know the answer? And by that I mean all of you !! . I have Dvd profiler on my Old desktop with a few hundred listings in it's collection ! I bought a newer faster Desktop recently and put DVD profiler on that one Too ! the old computer is still functional if it was plugged in and hooked up but I have it temporarily unplugged in my computer room . My question is THis I want to Tranfer my database ( collection ) from the old desktop to the new one I know how to do that now !!! but what I am wondering is being I already Have some 180+ files in dvd profiler on the new computer will the collection numbers conflict or will they automatically adjust themselves to the new additions ? assuuming that they are'nt duplicate entries = ( already on my collections list ) ??? Thanks for listening everyone Happy New year & God bless !!!!

@BIGTOXY69......... I also use DVDProfiler..... it's a great program..... you can use back up and then restore but you will lose your disks that you already have stored on your new computer! If you take the old inventory and put it in the new inventory you will lose your disks that you put in your new computer. I would do a print out of your new inventory on your new computer..... then restore the old list to your new computer..... and add all the new ones to the new computer AGAIN! I can't see it any other way. I'm sorry. but adding 100 or so disks isn't too bad.... wait till you have to add 700 or 1000!!! That's what I'm up to! LOL
