Just wondering if anybody has tried backin up midnight club 3 dub edition yet. The game is wicked but I havent tried to back it up yet. Hopefully its not a real hard one like gt4 or god of war. Would be nice if you just dvd decrypt and burn. P.S. does anybody know if there is a dvd5 patch or release for GT4?

Midnight Club 3 doesnt need any special burning procdures.
There is a flattened DVD5 HDD version of GT4 floating around on torrent sites and newsgroups, do some googeling.

ive backed up midnight club 3 dub edition
using DVD Decrypter and
dvd-r ritek at 2x speed but its very jerky
and takes a long time to load
any help please

any time it is jerky I would bet your lense is dirty or you have bad media. Could be wrong but that has been my experience. I always get quality media. Backing up a 50$ game is worth the .60 cents.

Hey, I got Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition today and used HD Loader to copy it to my HDD. Copyed it OK, but the game didn't play :(.
Anyone else had this trouble?

first I tried burning it with the latst version of Nero but it didn't work. then i tried with dvd decryptor and it works perfect. No special procedures needed.

Hmm... I have just used DVD Decrypter to generate an ISO, so I'll put that on my HDD and see what happens.

used DVD Decrypter burned at 4x (can`t burn any slower) worked fine for me using swap magic 3.3

I've burned it with DVD Decrypter 2,4 X speed dvd-r TDK (allways works) but i also have long loading times and stuff! how do i clean my lens?
i have a Lens Cleaner but my ps2 won't read it :(

I've burned it with alcohol at 2x speed on philips dvd-r
Works perfect with SM 2.0

im getting slow times too... maybe sumthing wrong w/ the protocol release??? suprised that a swapmagic 2.0 reads it w/o any problems. Im using swapmagic 3.6 and having load time problems. burned at 1x and used DVD Decrypter w/ memorex brand dvd-r. takes forever to get to the main screen(havent gotten there yet but hope to) all i see is my star in teh background go round and round. any help on this issue is greatly appreciated

OK, I made an ISO with DVD Decrypter, then put the ISO on my HDD but it doesn't work.
Anyone know of a fix to get MC3 DUB working from HDDs???

The long load times aren't from a dirty lens. I copied MC3 straight up and the load times were between 35 seconds to a 1 minute. This compared to my original disc loading from 7-15 seconds. I then rebuilt the game, but it didn't reduce the size any. I went ahead and copied it anyway, which seems to have helped, since the new copy seems to load just as fast as the original.

jtc982 thank you for illegally downloading Midnight Club 2 Congrats on saving 80$.
ok so all you have to do i right click on the first .rar file in the folder and click extract here and after its done you should get an ISO. Then all you have to do is burn with DVD Decrypter and it should work.

i downloaded the game and burned it at 2x and then at 1x and they both are slow at loading and dont end up loading, could this be my media iam using, im used Alcohol 120% for the 1st one and DVD Decrypter for the 2nd. Iam also using Datawrite Red DVD's, thanks

i have heard many things about midnight club some people say its the verison of ps2 such as v1-6 play the game with now problems with loading while other versions say it choppy or loading takes forever. but it could be your media try ritek dvds thats what i use haven't had a problem them yet so far. try www.ps2nfo.com you probably can find more info there. you need to register though to see the fourms.

tried again to burn (patched for online) and still no luck getting to main screen
should i consider rebuilding? this is the second copy i burned. dont need to waste another dvd and time
