I have a Geforce FX 5200 128 mb video card... and i play a low graphic game called Starsiege: Tribes, but i only get about 53-70 fps on it. Should i be getting more fps?
If you know anything, please help

you can have all the ram in the world but if he has a faster cpu & a more likeable chipset than that extra ram means nothing as both videocards are the same

The 5200 is not the most powerful of cards. To get the frame rate you do should give you a reasonable picture. What is your anti-aliasing & anisoptric settings at? Have you got directx9c installed. You will need to experiment with drivers to get the ones to suit your system. The official Nvidia drivers are usually the best performing, in my opinion.

Your graphice card is vital to make a game play smoothly. RAM can only do so much, as can your processor. If you have 512RAM, & a 2500 processor, you will be OK. I recently upgraded to 1gig PC3200 RAM & a 3200 Barton chip. The 75gig Raptor drive makes loading times a lot quicker. The difference in computer & gaming performance was noticed, but it did not make the earth move too much! It was the 6800 Gainward card that makes Far Cry truly rock. It made the difference at least 2-3fold!
It all depends on your budget of course.
