I don't know what program you are using to back up with. If its dvd shrink, when you reauthor, you will see all the audio on the disk. The problem is usually ac3 2ch directors comment. You need to uncheck this so it won't copy. I usually uncheck all audio and leave 5.1.

If the movie and it has the director talking, just hit the audio button on your remote and sound should change over to the movie.
