Memorex is awful and movies should be burned at 8x or less. Most burn at 4x or less. Next time buy something decent like Maxell, TDK, Verbatim, they cost more but are worth it. Try burning what you have but slow down to 2x or 4x

I agree w/ Ppower - lower the speed and get rid of Memorex. Even reducing the speed w/ Memorex may not help. I had a batch went as low as 2x still bad. One of my drives is capable of 16x but I've never even tried. Most here say 4x - my rule of thumb is 1/2 of what your burner will support with good media. I prefer Taiyo Yuden.

Hahahas.... you crack me up dude! No hard feeling though alright, but it's good for you and it's good that you haven't had any failure with Memorex. Good luck at burning with Memorex.

No Memorex for me here.

If you have to burn your media at a slower speed than what it is rated for, it is crap media.
Stick with a good brand and search for the best price.

I've back and running, but this movie is still giving me troubles.
I'm thinking it must be a bad original.

Try playing the movie from the files on the hard drive.
If it plays OK, the problem lies in the burning process and or media
