i have triple x movie and it will play on a friends standalone dvd player but i usually play on computer but this one wont even be reconised by xp returns disk error is this a new protection? or has my windows gone real sick? thanx in advance

hahah very funny but now to constuctive thoughts

like i say this disk will not even be seen by explorer ordisc info on Nero maybe i put it down to damaged disk which still plays in standalone dvd player

Try a different reader if you have one and perhaps turning off AnyDVD or DVD43 if they are running in the background....

What program are you using to play disk. Im assuming windows media player is giving you this error. If that's the case I would use windvd or powerdvd. I have had nothing but trouble trying to play dvd's in Windblows media player.

i have had the same problem with many new dvd's recently, windows just does not reconise the disc, wont play at all on my cumputer but plays fine in my stand alone player. whats up with that???? can anyone help?

I would dump the windblows media player for dvd playback. Even when it does work it does not compare to Windvd which is my favorite dvd player. Matter of fact windvd will play any thing you throw at it. I also like powerdvd for second choice .
