not sure if i can post this here but i bought a protable cd player that doesnt cum with ac adapter and i was wondering if i was to buy one sepretly from a store with the same voltage required which is 6.5v
will it still work with the cd player???????

check that the connector from the adapter fits properly into the player as different versions of adapters. check on the player what amperage or milli-amps needs besides the voltage

ALSO check polarity. negative center or positive. that can easily destroy your equipment if you use the wrong polarity connector
