Hello everyone I recently tried to make a backup of a game and I was using nero to burn it,about half way through my computer made a clicking sound and shut off and then restarted itself now,everytime I do something that makes my cpu usage go up it clicks and shuts off. does anybody know what it could be?

Maybe a heat issue. What are your CPU and motherboard temps when this happens?

both the mobo and the cpu are around the high 30's.I have 2x80mm shooting air in and a 120mm and 80mm for exhaust,and the cpu fan is a giga-byte 3-D rocket.

I disconnected 2 of the 80mm fans and it seems to be working fine.I have a 350w psu right now,I probably need a stronger psu since I overclock the cpu and the ram

I maxed out at 294w I have a 350w psu,maybe it was the overclocking that did it but,it never gave me any problems before

un-overclock it to see if problem still exists

yeah I went back to default setting i'm going to try and burn something to see if it will shutdown again
