i have anydvd and clonedvd. I can copy movies and play them on my computer,but they will not play on a regular dvd player. If any one can help. Please do!!!!!!!!!!

Hi there,

What brand of media are you using ?
What speed are you burning them at ?
What software are you using to burn them ?
What brand is your burner ? What firmware are you using ?

Are they probably burned as DVD Video format ?
(AUDIO_TS & VIDEO_TS directories)

When you say they won't play, be more specific !
Won't recognize the DVD at all, or skips and freeze ?

Media quality and burning speed makes all the difference in the world !

Answering all or a few of those questions will help others help you.

You may be running into media speed limitations on the playback machine. In the case of a DVD Writer/Reader, it may have a media limit of 2X or 4X, but you may be writing in your computer Reader/Writer 8X. Has happened to me, and caused a red face on that problem.

it also depends on the dvd-player

older models really struggle with certain disk types (-r, +r etc), speeds, media etc
