I would think media has more of an influence on what players will or will not play a disc than the software. Especially DVD Decrypter. All it does is pull of copy protection.

I would have thought that it isn't software you need but hardware - RAM disks just write the same data as an ordinary dvd disc, I think. To convert from RAM to dvd-r(w) you will need a burner that is compatable with both RAM and DVD discs (eg LGGSA4163B)

It doesnt matter what media you use, it will only play on Pannys' if you use DVD Decrypter. I've tried about 8 different types of disc, + & - --doesnt make a difference

So if you burn a movie using DVD Decrypter and then burn the same movie again on the same batch of discs with....oh let's say Nero, then the Decrypter-burned copy will play and the Nero-burned copy won't play? That doesn't sound right at all, unless you've got some configuration issues in your other burning software.

You will have to excuse my ignorance. I have a Toshiba player/recorder, and I could not see any of the files of the dvd-ram it produced in my computer. A special software needed? I have decrypter and others, but just couldn't see any files.

YES! Use the TMPGEnc DVD Author-- dowlnoad the trial version. try it out. I wasted a few discs before I got it right, now I will buy the real thing - its great. its the only one that completely works w/DVD RAM discs. Here is the thread:
