if i update my bios what will that do wil it erase my hdd as i new to all this my com specs are win 98se 650 mhz i know its a asus mother board not sure what type though thats about all i know sorry not to me of a help

sorry before but just found out a few more things on my com here they are650 megahertz Intel Pentium III

your motherboard is an ASUS CUBX with bios version & date VMP 1005-3 11/30/1999. can go to a p3-1gig or a celeron 1.1gig & bios version 1008.004
your video card is a 32meg card made by hercules & you have 256meg of ram on your motherboard. so check the game specs to see what you'll need as most likely you'll need a new computer

you'll need a new psu, motherboard, cpu, ram as your ram is sdram so need ddr ram, better video card & maybe a bigger hd as you didn't post it's size. or get a new computer that has a dvd rom in it so can use that drive for games & ripping & put your dvd burner into new computer

sorry to be a newsensce im thinking of buying my friends com of him if i get the spec for you could u tell me if its worth buying or not im only paying a hundred a fithty pound so not dear at all when i get the specs ile post them cheers for your help mutch apriciated all i know so far its an i media 8137e packard bell intel celeron
