Hi

I've decided I'd like to make my mp3 complilations in ISO mode - as a data cd, you can fit a lot more onto a cdr and play in a cd player accordingly. As far as I can tell, the audio quality is identical if I were to encode and play it in the standard cda audio mode. Please correct me if I'm wrong or whether my ears might be deceiving me (as the result of wishfull thinking). The advantage of ISO is that a ridiculous amount of mp3 files can fit onto a single disk.

The disadvantage is that it seems impossible to to order the files as desired. Nero (or Windows) auto arranges the mp3's in alphabetical order, and my attempt to move them around in the browser interface simply doesn't work - even if I instruct Nero not to auto arrange. Other options are available (like organise by date or size), but that is not useful when you're trying to create a compilation in a desired order.

So, I have a couple of questions.

1. Is MP3 and CDA audio mode audi quality comparable? If you burn a mp3 to a cdr, of course, it converts the mp3 to cda in order to be played on standard cd players. but now that they can directly play an mp3 data file, I'm not sure whether the conversion is necessary.

2. Is is possible to organise an mp3 compliation in ISO mode? If so, how please (using Nero or any other application)?
