I FIXED IT. OR IT IS FIXED.
Well. my Azureus freezed at jpcplugin. What i did was i doubled clicked Azureus and doubled clicked it again. So now i have to Azureus one is dealing with the plugin and the another one is downloading. It took some momory but after a half our it settled out the one Azureus that was frozen at the plugins dissapeared and i only got one Azureus left with my downloads. But now Azereus was taking only 10% or less of my cpu and it is downloading like 150 Kbps.
Another good news now when i start Azureus it doesn`t freeze.
So try it folks.
Hope this resolves the boot freeze issue.
Thanks for ME.

I uninstalled Azureus 2.3 and reinstalled the older version 2.2. I have the latest Java version 1.5 and XP. When I try to download older torrents I'm still getting this message "We are very sorry!
This torrent is not DHT-safe and may not be used with your recently used client."
It works fine with newer torrents. Any advice?

Has anyone figured out a way to get old torrents to not have issues with DHT?

I figured out how to get Azureus to work and not get the DHT error.
Delete the new version 2.3.0 and install the older version 2.2.0.2. Alien posted the link to it here. After you download the older version go to a torrent site like dimeadozen and start any *newer* torrent, even if it's only long enough to check in once, then you leave/stop that torrent so you're no longer listed on the torrent site as having Azureus 2.3.0.0 as the last client you used. Even though you're using the older version now the torrent sites think you're using the newer version until you open a newer torrent with the older version and at least let it start downloading and then stop it. Once you do that the sites recognize you're using the older version and all torrents should work from then on.
Hope that helps.

I will ask once again, is there a way to truly make 2.3 and forward work. I have downgraded to 2.2 until this is resolved. I have many torrents that are very slow downloading or are seeding due their uniqueness. Keeping the previous version is less desirable if someone has found a patch that can work around downgrading again.
Thanks all.

Okay then I have one other question, other than guess, what is the only way to check, manually whether the files have issues with DHT. Am I to understand that all new torrents shouldn't have this same problem with 2.3?

I too have issues with the latest version, the question i have is, I have 50% of a file so far, if i uninstall to go to the 2.2 version as stated in previous posts, do the files im currently seeding and downloading automatically pick up from the same point as left by the 2.3 version, or do i wait till i have my full download to be safe

My experience is that they will pick up from the 2.3 point, but depending on when you started using 2.3, you probably didn't get much more done than what you had with 2.2. I know that I just took all the files I had online, down, due to this issue. I had about 40 to 60 gig of shows that I was sharing, that's too bad, too :(
Take care all.
