Hi i been rading some view for lime wire and people claim that it has spyware and adware. I have dected no spyware on mine but is it only certain versions. I'm currently using LimeWire Pro 4.8.1

I would say both, it is fast and has some good files. But it is not as safe or fast as irc. I don't know about spyware some people have said it does and others say that it has none.

I use it quit often and I run various spyware programs and non have detected limewire as being spyware. I love this program but thats just me as others will differ. so just go with your expeirence.
