newb here...
i'm learning on how to rip games and i'm using an original NBA street v.3 with swapmagic 3.6.
-so far i have used dvd decrypter just to copy and burn and it loads the game but it hangs at the "loading" screen of the game.
i have yet to try to rebuild this game so hopefuly that will work. so how can i tell which games i need to rebuild. some tutorials here just simply states load the game rip then burn and some have the rebuilding steps.. thanks for your help

sounds like a bad burn to me. is this your first game to backup? if so, try different speeds at burning and different media. I get the maxell 8x 30 pk from wal-mart for like 14 dollars and burn at 2x. never had a problem on any ps2. hth.

use better media

if the game toc is above 4.35 it'll need rebuilding

thanks guys, but how does rebuilding the iso make it smaller? i looked at the directions and it seems that it just gets broken down then put back together without deleting any files.. thanks and please excuse the newbness

i know if you refresh the toc with a game bigger than nba street v3 youll get your backup to work.

i dont know exactly how the rebuild process works but i have my theory.i just need to get Nero to see if it is true.

exactly which version(s) of Nero let you write in udf/iso(aka,dvd-rom)?

Hey, i have had some issues with backing up NBA Street Vol. 3 aswell

I backup games quite often and with good results pretty much everytime

I use DVD Decrypter for all of my game backups, perhaps there is some type of new encoding within NBASV. 3, i dont know, because after i ripped it, i played it, and it took a while to load, and then when it did, it strangely lagged for some reason, and within the game, the music continued to lag or skip..kind of weird..

Hello all fellow NBA STREET V3 users. I have a few requests I hope someone can help me ... I went to swapmagicfix.com and tryed to register and it continually says the admin banned my email address that i tried to register with so I cant get the fix for NBASV3 .. can anyone help me with that .. i cant successfully link from any of the previous posts with links to any fixes so I dont know how to backup this game without being able to get the patch.. Im legally blind so alot of reading is hard for me to do but I am willing to try anything at this point. Thanks

alot of people cant get onto that site to get that patch.but you can rebuild the game to get it to work.ive explained how to do this numerous of times.if you use the site search and type in "rebuild nba street v3" im sure you will get a bunch of threads that will explain how to do it.you might even find me explaining how to do it.
