I have a panasonic dvd/ram-r drive, and im runnin winxp with all the updates, athlon xp 2000+, etc.

When i run dvd decryptor or dvdxcopy, when it goes to write the date it gives me:

"FAILED TO SET WRITE PARAMETERS" in an error message and doesnt write to the disk.

Anyone have any clue what might be causing this? My burner used to work fine, then the dvd-r laser broke, and i sent it in and got it back.

Also the weird thing is, making a regular data disk with a utility like record now max works fine...So far its just these authoring programs that dont work...I have downloaded and installed the newest atapi drivers for winxp...
