I can not access the ringstyle menu on my v180. I went through the motions, deleted those DB files and still nothing, tried to do a master reset and still nothing. I may have, in my stupidity, deleted the wrong files. Is there anyway to get my phone back to the way it was? I'm stupid, yes I know. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!! My carrier is T-Mobile if that helps the answer any better

So, I have found a solution. I went to MotoModders.net and downloaded the v600 backup file, took the *.imy and the *.bas files and downloaded them to my v180, it fixed the problem. I hope this helps out another newbie and maybe even some of you senior users too. This plagued me for a few days and I finally found the fix.

i have had the same thing happen to me. to fix it, use p2ktools and set ringers to all silent, delete the 2 db files out of your audio folder then restart your phone. you will be able to access ring styles then, but all your ringers will be silent so you need to change them back

I did that already, it didn't work. I think I may have deleted one of the ones that I shouldn't have? is my phone garbage now? I've been searching for answers for weeks now, to no avail. Please help if you can. Also, my comp crashed and I had to redo the whole thing, I can't get a working version of PST and/or P2K, it's all so very frustrating...lol Do you know where I can get working english versions of those programs??
