OK,
Heres my situation. I bought Star Wars episode 4 and 6. I would like ot back them up for my 6yo. He hasnt really got the hang of a remote so I backup his movies so they have no menu, start on insert and he destroys them in a few weeks.
Anyways. I am trying to backup the Star Wars episode 4 and 6. DVD's for him and getting cyclic redundancy errors on dvdshrink about half way on both of em. I havethe latest versions of anydvd and dvdshrink. Even tried dvd decoder. Cleaned em with toothpaste and all. Is there any new encoding out there or did I just get 2 bad DVD's? They play fine on my dvd player.
Plus- I just did my SW Trilogy (YOU KNOW IT! PREORDER ALSO!) anyways, DVD Shrink just isn't updated enough like DVD Decrypter is. Some DVD's are just too updated for DVD Shrink to decrypt over. I had to Decrypt it first with DVD Decrypter. Also, nice one dude. I don't have any kids, but my real little sis breaks disks like a butter going through knife. Wait. Is it the other way around? hm. Maybe if you have a plastic knife and you heated up the butter...
