ok , i have bought me a pulse 30cm cold cathod light and now its blown , the chip that runs the sound thru 2 the light has definetly fried becuase smoke was comin out of it and it smelt like burnt shit , ibvisouly its over , but is my light ok? , how would i kno the best way 2 describe it is that its got black parts that was on it before i think on each side, but noting llooks burnt , so how do i get this light back to running (dont tell me 2 buy aqnother one)

LOL, well if the controller is burnt out, what do you expect........
Cathodes require to be connected to an inverter, these can run from 5vdc to 12vdc and generate in excess of 200v, so I wouldn't start playing around with it as it will give you a nice belt........
Just buy a new set, they are cheap enough................

im not wasting another 20 bux knowing already that the chip is cheap a hunk of shit , and its the onli place i know that sells em in my area , and i might consider buyin from the net if they accept saving cards :D

Well don't buy another then....................what are your alternatives?
From what I can see you have none other than replace them or bin them........
You maybe able to buy another set and wire them in parallel and then have 4 going, but I would presume that would burn it out eventually...................
