I cant get a backup of Yuyu Hakusho: Dark Tournament to work, it keeps sayin "not a valid ps2 disc" I use dvd decrypter and i tryed using philips and sony blank dvd-rs. This is the only backup i cant get to work, does it need a patch or sumthin?

as far as we know. YYH Dark Tournament had no problem whatsoever. are you sure we're talking about Dark Tournament? Are you sure you're not refering to YYH Forever? cause Dark Tournament is a pretty old game

Yea im talking about the Dark tournament, i think its like a year or 2 since it came out. I'm using swap magic 3.6 to try and play it, everytime i put it in it says not a ps2 disc.

I think i heard somebody say that the back up of dark tournament will only work if u have ur ps2 chipped. I think the games needs a patch to make it work with swap magic.

Did anyone figured out how to back up yuyu dark tournament? because I have the same problem. I have the same problem not a valid ps2 disk.

I copied YYH Dark Tournament with DVD Decrypter, Philips DVD+R, and Swap Magic 2.0. Works fine for me. Maybe your PS2 doesn't like DVD-R's like mine. But I didn't need a fix or ne thing. Could be that the copy of the game you tried to copy was pressed wrong. That happens alot.

Try a different copy of the game. Maybe go rent it. It's not illegal cus you actually own the game ^_^;

I hope thats the case because I wasted like 5 or 6 dvd+rs :( And on top of that I always lend my games out, so far from 60 games down to 32 games all because they got scratched up from me lending out my games hopefully I get the games I lost back, I really enjoy playing my games...........and also I just learned how to back up some ps2 games I had I saved all the games I had thats scratched up maybe hoping that I can restore them.

Hey Moonfire1, I have a v9 Ps2 ft, and i'm using swapmagic 2.0 w/ memorex DVD-R, i've been playing YYH dark tournament for over a year now w/ no probs.

Yea.. thats prolly what it is... I tried to copy Juiced but it was pressed wrong... went and borrowed a friends Juiced and copied it... worked just fine so... you might wanna try another YYH Dark Tournament and try copying it...
